Great News About Lisa

Lisa is our miracle girl!  Less than 3 weeks ago Lisa was hit by a car while riding her bike and ended up being "life flighted" to Oregon Health Sciences University with a collapsed lung, broken collar bone, fractured ribs and a fractured wrist.  Yesterday Lisa emailed us that she is going on the trip and plans to ride!  Her right wrist will still be an "issue" but Lisa managed to talk the doctor into taking a different approach than keeping it in a cast for 8 weeks.  She had an operation to screw the bone together and will now only be in a cast for 2 more weeks (it will come off right before we leave) and will "just" need a wrist support.  Needless to say, we are all very excited that Lisa will be with us on our trip!  Thanks to all of you for your thoughts a prayers.
